Arlington Heights, Ill., – February 12th, 2009 – Digital Innovations, the industry’s leading consumer electronics care and maintenance products provider, announces it has acquired certain assets, intellectual property and the rights to the product line from Micro Innovations, Inc. of Edison, NJ. Micro Innovations imports and distributes quality computer accessories at a value price point under the Micro Innovations brand throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Micro Innovations has also been master distributor for HP accessories in the U.S. and Canada, as well as licensee for Compaq and IBM computer accessories. Financial terms were not disclosed and the transfer of assets is effective immediately.
Under the terms of the acquisition agreement, Digital Innovations has arranged for an orderly transition to its Arlington Heights, IL headquarters. Support will be immediately assumed by Digital Innovations for all current resellers and end users so that they will experience a seamless transition.
