We purchased this for long car rides with the kids. It attaches very easily (easy to take down if you go into a restaurant - just unhook and leave the DVD player attached, stick it under the seat) also easy to attach the dvd player. It does wiggle some but won't fall off, doesn't bother the kids and the dvd screen is adjustable so compensates. The only little pain is that when I swivel the screen to face me (to get it going for the kids) you have to tug on the elastic strap - it catches under the screen - no way around that really.ALSO - I actually installed it into the car backwards (on purpose!) so that the contols of the DVD face me, swivel the screen to face the backseat - works great that way. All-in-all was a very good value and much better than a pile of straps! We will use it for a long time to come.

This product is stupendous! I had wrestled with carrying cases, straps, the DVD player falling out of the case, etc. for a few years. I bought this on a friend's recommendation (through Amazon - great price) and was so relieved. Take it out the box, pull out the arms to hook them around the front seat headrests of my car (VW Passat - so a midsized car) and strap the DVD Player in. 20 second installation. This holder seems a bit flimsy and wobbly but it truly is super super effective and it places the DVD player at a very good spot for watching by both my children (previously, when I used the carrying bag, the DVD player was too low so my children had to bend their heads to watch or it would "turn" over time toward one child. You can imagine the issues with that.) GREAT BUY!!

We installed this in our Ford Escape and it works great. The problem we had before was that we had one of those case holders that installed behind the seat or inbetween but it was just messy and it hung down after awhile. Also, our daughter loves to push buttons and she could reach it. Now we take quiet peaceful roadtrips without having to constanly turn around to fix the dvd player our 20 month old has been kicking and messing with.

This product is easy, fast to install and very useful with kids and watching DVD's in the car. I can take this product down very fast and put it back up quickly and with alot of ease. No straps and its very sturdy. I highly recommend this product and now my daughter is occupied during our long drives home. If she is happy, I am happy. I am glad I found this product and was money well spent.

I love it. With it's spring mount, it is very quick and easy to put in and take out (if you don't want someone to know there is a DVD player in the car).

It looks like a cheap piece of plastic with flimsy arms that pull out without much friction and a cheapo velcro strap. But it works amazingly well, holding our 10" Panasonic (the one w/ the 11-hour battery) for rides up and down the California coast. The strap may seem less-than-ideally placed for many players, but didn't obstruct operation at all, and wouldnt let go even when I knocked it around by hand and tried to pull the thing in the wrong direction several times.
