SkipDr Premier Disc Cleaner

I find this works well for cleaning CDs, DVD, and game discs. If discs are scratched, you need a repair system. I have also used the Skip Dr. repair system with good success. Sometimes you need to run the disc through more than once, but the thing works!!

Battery-powered, easy to use. You spray the disc with fluid that comes with the unit, then insert the disc into slot and the machine spins the disc against a cleaning cloth. When you feel the disc has had enough (not more than 10 seconds), you pull the disc out and it's done. The unit has rubber feet so you can sit it on top of your TV or other surface and it won't slide off.

This item is pretty handy for cleaning a lot of discs with toddler fingerprints on them. I haven't had any discs ruined using it.

This cleaner is a cleaning machine. It does what it's designed to do. I clean my discs from Netflix before I watch them & never have a problem. This thing works great! Highly recommended.

Overall I am pleased with this product. It doesn't actually remove scratches or anything miraculous like that but definately does a good job of cleaning the disc surface. It has made several disks stop skipping on me and eliminates any worries I have of a dirty disk causing damage to the reader eye. It's also definately a safer option then just wiping a disc on your shirt. It does make quite a loud noise when it is cranking away just fyi for the noise sensitive types. Says right on the bottle of spray it is isopropyl alcohol so refills are cheap and easy. Ninety ninety cents at your local drug store would be about nearly a life time supply.
